The Chamber represents your concerns in organizations such as Chamber Alliance of New York State, Business Council of New York State, United States Chamber of Commerce, and the Oneida County Convention and Visitors Bureau, to name a few.
Energy Savings – Through our exclusive relationship with Integrys Energy, chamber members are eligible to receive reduced electrical rates. The savings often pays for a chamber membership in less than one year.
Business Referrals - The Chamber receives hundreds of emails, phone calls and walk-ins requesting specific information regarding the goods and services of our local area providers. We only refer Chamber Members!
On-line Business Referrals - Over one thousand new viewers each month are actively seeking information about the Mohawk Valley via this website. We continually refer our website to the public and only Chamber Members are listed in our Mohawk Valley business directory.
Website - Many people use the Internet to seek information. The Chamber of Commerce website was designed to give prospective visitors, new businesses and residents all the information they need about the Mohawk Valley and our exciting business organization.
Monthly Action Newsletter - Each month the Action Newsletter outlines Chamber events, reports on government affairs, discusses local business concerns and more.
Education and Training - The Chamber of Commerce hosts quarterly business seminars and workshops designed to educate business leaders and their employees in a variety of topics ranging from finance to customer service to Internet commerce.
Display information about your business - We promote your business by displaying your literature and/or business cards in the Mohawk Valley Chamber office. Additionally, any information displayed in the office is included with any relocation packets that are requested.
Ribbon Cuttings - New and existing businesses can receive a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at their place of business. Attended by a mix of the Chamber staff, our Board of Directors and our Ambassadors, and often times a member of local government. Photos and announcements are featured in the monthly Chamber newsletter. We supply the scissors, ribbon, and notify the media.
Website Sponsorship - For a reasonable investment you can have a scrolling banner posted on the Chamber website www.mvchamber.org.
Business After Hours - Each month the Chamber hosts a monthly Business After Hours (BAH) where you have an opportunity to meet and speak with local business leaders, local government officials and many residents of the Mohawk Valley that share your interests. New members are introduced and given an opportunity to say a few words about their business. Each month the BAH is hosted by a different Chamber member, an excellent opportunity to showcase your business.
Special Events – In addition to the Business After Hours networking opportunities, there are many other events throughout the year such as the Mohawk Valley Business Showcase, Business of the Year Award, Ursula Flagg Award, and the Choo-Choo Open Golf Event.

Annual Business Directory – Member organizations are highlighted in the Annual Business Directory.
Referral Beacon – The Chamber acts as a referral beacon by directing requests in business, economic development, tourism, education, and quality of life to the appropriate agency.
